AUSTIN, TX – July 15, 2002: Illinois-based Mesco-Oliver
and Louisiana-based Applied Process Equipment Specialists will represent
BullhornTM, American Innovations' low-cost wireless solution. Bullhorn
checks inputs from equipment remotely and provides automatic notification
of alarm events by fax, page and/or email. Mesco-Oliver will cover the
Industrial market in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin; Applied Process
Equipment Specialists will supply the Industrial and Wastewater markets
in Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Both companies have established
themselves as technology leaders in these industries.
"We're happy to have Mesco-Oliver and Applied
Process Equipment Specialists on board," said Vice President of
Sales and Marketing Lee Blankenstein. "Both companies bring years
of experience to the table and will be significant in our efforts to
establish the Bullhorn system as the number one solution for remote
monitoring, data collection and control."
Applications for the technology in the water/wastewater
market include: wells, pumps, lift stations, storage tanks, effluent
overflow, pressure, pH, temperature, flow meters and more. In the industrial
market, Bullhorn can be used for vendor managed inventory and security
as well as for monitoring any kind of equipment including: tanks, generators,
pumps, and more.
The Bullhorn system uses the MicroBurst™ wireless
network from Aeris.net to transfer information from remote equipment
to a central database. In seconds, data packets are transferred from
the Bullhorn unit over the cellular network to the Aeris.net operating
center and on to AI's secure web site where packets are decoded and
the data is posted for customers to view or to download.
